Fall Themed Packaging: 2019 Audit

 

Fall may quickly be on its way to becoming a fully fledged promoted season like Halloween or Easter. While it has always been celebrated among individuals and families (and Pinterest) with its cozy sweater weather sayings and apple orchard group pics, this was the year it came to retail in a big way.

Home decor sections celebrated with fall wreathes, barn-door sayings, mugs and books. Greeting cards dedicated a section to celebrating fall and the turning of the seasons, and of course, grocery played along too.

Aisle upon aisle and brand upon brand took up not just the popular pumpkin spice flavor, but leaf-shaped products and the aesthetics of a mid-west or upper east coast fall.
